Look for early signs of tooth decay once a month.

Healthy teeth:

If you see white lines along the gumline, you should make a dental appointment now.

If you see brown or yellow spots that don't brush of, see a dentist or dental therapist urgently.

Keep your child's teeth healthy

  • Put bub to bed without a bottle.
  • Offer a cup from around 6 months of age.
  • Start brushing when bub gets their first tooth.
  • Visit your local dental clinic or health service for more advice.
