This NSW Health genomic testing patient information video was developed by NSW Ministry of Health and NSW Health Pathology in collaboration with NSW Health clinicians, consumers, consumer advocates and Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) Centre for Genetics Education.
This short, animated video can be provided to patients and families to support informed consent. This includes an understanding of genomic healthcare, genomic testing and possible results to help patients and families in deciding whether to have a genomic test.
