The NSW Health Stolen Generations Survivors Action Plan 2025–2030: Towards Health and Healing is the first of its kind in Australia and an important step forward in our ongoing commitment to healing and addressing the urgent health and aged care needs of Stolen Generations Survivors.
This Action Plan reflects the wisdom, perseverance and leadership of Stolen Generations Survivors to raise awareness and address the ‘gap within the gap’, they face.
Survivors experience more adverse health outcomes compared to the broader Aboriginal population – which are already significantly worse than most other Australians.
This Action Plan ensures that the voices, wisdom and leadership of Survivors are at the forefront of how we adapt, design and deliver health services to meet their needs. It outlines six key objectives:
