Students playing

Live Outside the Box is an interactive, fun, one-week activity for Stage 3 (years 5 and 6) primary school students on how to maintain a healthy active lifestyle

Students are encouraged to reduce the amount of less healthy foods and replace these with healthier alternatives. They are also encouraged to be physically active and turn of the TV, tablets and computer games.

Each student receives a Live Outside the Box student card from their teacher to record their information. Parents and carers are encouraged to sign off the student card daily.

Where did it originate?

The challenge has been adopted from the Q4: Live Outside the Box developed by Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service.
