Patient experience performance

The Bureau of Health Information (BHI) manages the NSW Patient Survey Program and regularly publishes reports about thousands of people’s experiences with the NSW public healthcare system.

BHI’s interactive Data Portal offers more detailed patient experience results including trends – along with quarterly activity and performance information for ambulance and public hospital services – at a NSW, local health district, peer group and individual hospital level.

Guide to Action

Elevating the Human Experience is NSW Health’s first statewide strategy for improving your experience. It is the result of extensive consultation with patients, families, carers, residents, clients, volunteers, staff, health consumer organisations and other non-government organisations (NGOs).
