​​​We recognise we need to make improvements to move towards gender equality in NSW Health. Our compassionate workforce can be the catalyst for this change. The Gender Equality Action Plan guides the actions we will take to improve our capability to respectfully communicate with our patients, collect the right data and embed gender equality considerations in everything we do.

During the plan's development our staff highlighted areas of strength and opportunities to do better that support each other and the people we care for. The plan supports us all in planning, leading and successfully implementing measures that help make NSW Health a safe and inclusive place to work for people of all genders. We are proud to work with people that embrace diversity and are committed to gender equality.
