You can find someone to talk to, and get support and advice in person, on the phone or virtually, from our list of mental health services.

You can also visit the Safe Haven nearest to you in NSW. Drop in and get support from our compassionate peer workers.

Calling the Mental Health Line is a great first step. It is a mental health referral service that is open 24/7. A trained health professional will answer your call. They will ask some questions so they can connect you to the right care for your needs.

There are free support programs to help you if you have recently attempted suicide.

Support is based on each person’s needs, so you can receive the care and understanding that best fits your situation.

You don’t have to face your recovery journey alone. There are people who want to help.

Get suicide bereavement support

Losing someone to suicide can be an extremely painful experience. You may be feeling intense grief, sadness, guilt and anger. You may be exhausted.

Family, friends, witnesses and first responders can get support through our free program. It can help you process difficult emotions in a safe and healthy way.

Free support is also available for children. It includes counselling, connecting with others who had a similar experience, and learning coping skills and tools.
