Transcript of RISE masterclass participants.

What was your experience of the RISE MasterClass workshops?

Tim Morcombe: I think its been really good to be part of this program and just tackle challenges in a structured way and with the support of the team but also learn a lot about how HealthRoster functions.

How will you apply your new capability to improve rostering outcomes?

Tim Morcombe:I guess getting me on the practical, it's really the nuts and bolts like putting shifts in but how do we get some data out that we can use to improve our practices.

Daniel Treacy: It's also been good to hear other people's challenges, which are sometimes different to ours but also sometimes similar and we can hear some of those lessons they've learnt and also apply it to some of our problems as well.

Tim Morcombe: Couple more sort of remember cultural underpinnings and how the department has worked in the past.

Daniel Treacy: I think that's going to take some time to break down but I think we've got, I think we've got the data, we've got the awareness of what's going on now we just need to work on, I guess the Department of a whole, and embedding some of those practices probably much the same as Tim. I think we've now got the skills to know what we're what we're trying to achieve. I guess we've identified some of our challenges and it's really trying to get through some of those cultural underpinnings and work out how we work with staff to try and change that. I guess work with them to get them to understand what we're trying to achieve and you know what we see. The benefits for the Department will be long-term.
