Aboriginal Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships and Cadetships provide a supported pathway into rewarding careers within the NSW Health system. Designed to grow and s​trengthen the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nursing and midwifery workforce, these programs offer financial assistance, employment opportunities, mentoring and professional support throughout every stage of the educational journey. 

Support is available from undergraduate study through to postgraduate qualifications, helping students and clinicians build their knowledge, develop their careers and pursue leadership opportunities. By investing in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives, these programs contribute to a culturally responsive workforce and improved health outcomes for Aboriginal communities across the state.
