Strategic Foresight resources

Strategic foresight is a systematic, participatory and proactive approach for exploring multiple plausible futures to support forward-thinking strategies and decisions. 

Futures uses methodologies such as horizon scanning and scenario planning to anticipate and prepare for possible change and disruption. Futures can help us to understand the forces shaping our local, national and global systems, and how they may evolve over time - supporting policy to tackle the challenges of tomorrow, not just the problems of yesterday.
