Workforce Accelerator

​​​​​​​​​The Workforce Accelerator tackles complex workforce challenges with future-focused solutions through collaborative, human-centred workshops. By focusing on human-centred design and leveraging evidence-based, innovative practices, diverse leaders rapidly ideate and develop action plans to drive change at an accelerated pace. These plans are designed to attract, retain, and develop the NSW Health workforce​ needed for the future, ultimately enhancing patient access and care.

​​​To be considered for a Workforce Accelerator, the following principles should be met:
  • Focus on workforce-related challenges.
  • Emphasis on patient-centred opportunities.
  • An environment ready for change.
  • Willingness to experiment and pilot new approaches.
  • Adequate resources, leadership, and support for implementation.
  • The solution can be formed into an action plan and implemented.
