All local health districts, specialty health networks and most directly engaged public hospitals across NSW have a locally appointed Whole of Health Program (WOHP) Lead who drives patient flow and access improvement initiatives.

A key strategy of the WOHP is to better connect the health system in order to facilitate the transfer of knowledge across districts and the state, ensuring we are learning from each other's experiences. Building a network of Program Leads is one way of doing this. Therefore, a dedicated capability building forum for WOHP Leads was hosted on the 5th February. Presentations covered a range of initiatives that have had success in improving patient access and flow.
